Over the years, FT Technologies has won many awards both for business achievement and for the quality of its research and technology.
The Queen's Awards for Enterprise
FT Technologies was a double award winner of the 2006 Queen’s Award for Enterprise. The company was recognised in both the 'Innovation' and the 'International Trade' categories.
In 2007 the company was again rewarded for its achievements by the granting of a second Enterprise Award for International Trade. This recognised that, in three years, the company had more than quadrupled its export earnings which accounted for more than 90% of production.
In 2003, FT Technologies Acoustic Resonance airflow sensing technology reached the final four out of 2000 applicants for the prestigious Royal Academy of Engineering MacRobert award, the UK's top engineering prize for product innovation.

Design Council Millennium Award
FT Technologies was granted Millennium Products status for the FT702 by the UK Design Council. Millennium Products highlighted creativity and innovation in business. It identified and promoted forward-thinking products and services.
DTI SMART Award winner
In 1996 and 1998, FT Technologies was awarded two SMART awards by the UK Department of Trade & Industry. These prestigious awards were granted in recognition of new products or processes that involved a significant technological advance.
The award was presented to FT Technologies Managing Director, Mr Peter Elgar, by Ian Taylor, Minister for Science & Technology at the Department of Trade & Industry.
