MacRobert Award Finalists
FT Technologies Acoustic Resonance airflow
sensing technology reached the final four of the prestigious Royal
Academy
of Engineering MacRobert award competition, the UK's top engineering prize for
product innovation. There were some 2,000 applications and the finalist
award was presented to the team by HRH The Duke of Edinburgh at a gala dinner
in London.
“FT Technologies is thrilled to be a finalist for the 2003
MacRobert Award. This confirms that the company possesses a highly capable, committed,
dynamic and determined engineering team that can produce products that are
world-class and which encompass engineering excellence ” remarks the
Middlesex-based FT Technologies team.

director and inventor of Acoustic Resonance Technology, Peter Elgar (right), managing
director, and Robin Strachan (left) principal engineer.
Acoustic resonance technology is the driving
force behind the company's expanding range of innovative airflow and wind
sensor products.
